Monthly Archives: February 2013
Brad Sargent, aka FuturistGuy, created an amazing archive of Beaverton Grace Bible Church’s failed defamation lawsuit against Julie Anne Smith. He spent over 300 hours studying and writing about the events as they unfolded in 2012-2013. He shows how to document, how to use critical thinking skills, and how to see the full picture of what is going on in church abuse cases. This archive will be a very important tool for both the church abuse community as well as those facing lawsuits intended to silence their right to speak out against abuse.

This recently includes a complete and total fabrication about the #WhoWouldJesusSue social media blitz originating with Smith rather than — spoiler alert! — the actual WWJS website.
Spiritual Sounding Board gives a wonderful summary of the #WhoWouldJesusSue history, current results of the campaign, and what’s next with the Calvary Chapel lawsuit.
Thanks to everyone for their amazing efforts yesterday to bring awareness to the #WhoWouldJesusSue campaign on behalf of Alex Grenier and Tim Taylor. On account of your efforts, we now have an official Google news provider, God Discussion, covering our work.
